Marcia A. Layden

Marcia A. Layden has been an active member of Players since her first role as M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias in 1990. She has served on the Board of Managers, as Production Chair, and, finally, as President (2002-2004). She has produced and stage managed, but her happy place is on the stage. Some of her favorite roles have been in Over the River and Through the Woods, Ladies of the Alamo, Octette Bridge Club (both productions), and Macbeth. In 2019, she was fortunate enough to be awarded Best Actress in a Supporting Role by Motif for her role in River/Woods.
