Jay Burns made his professional debut 30 years ago as “Turkey Boy” in A Christmas Carol at Trinity Rep and has since beguiled audiences in roles like “Mr. Mushnick” (Little Shop of Horrors), “Rev. Collins” (Pride and Prejudice), and “Rabbi” (Fiddler on the Roof). A member of the No-Borders Inter-Tribal Theater Company, he’s performed works by William S. Yellow Robe Jr. Jay has directed productions including Jesus Christ Superstar, Twelfth Night, and Lend Me a Tenor. He’s also an award-winning screenwriter and seasoned stand-up comic, entertaining audiences from Maine to Las Vegas.
