Carol Allen
Properties Designer/ALD System Navigator
Carol is excited to make her debut as Props / Set Decorating for anthropology. Her previous show was costume designer for The Revlon Girl. As a trained dancer, Carol is not a stranger to the stage performing in many musicals in VT and RI. She was honored to serve on the Board of Managers in 2023/24 and has now completed her special project endeavor in upgrading the deaf and hard of hearing equipment (ALD) for the main stage which is now ready to go live for this production. Behind the scenes, a retired Special Educator, she operates a small equine assisted learning business working with adults with disabilities. She is happily married to lighting designer, Ron Allen.
Assisted Listening Device (ALD)
In support of The Players’ mission to create welcoming, inclusive theatrical experiences, we are proud to announce the recent upgrade of our Assistive Listening Device (ALD) system for our deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons. This special project was pursued out of my deep commitment to our theatre’s values of access, community, and equity in the arts. By improving our accessibility resources, we aim to ensure that every audience member can fully engage with and enjoy the stories shared on our stage.
I would like to thank the many dedicated folks that supported, assisted, and or advised me on this endeavor.
